GTF is a free personal hobby service for adult PC gamers. By using GTF you agree to these terms. The Privacy and Cookie policies explain data use and device-storage choices; accepting these terms does not enable optional remembering, history or reminders.

What the service provides

GTF helps you choose games for your mood and available time, compare visible Steam libraries, plan sessions and use optional reminders. Recommendations, saving guidance, download times, session windows and completion estimates are information, not guarantees. Game modes, updates and your play style can change whether guidance fits. Reviews may be snapshots; prices are estimates until confirmed at Steam checkout.

Steam and game purchases

Steam handles authentication and your password. You must have permission to use the Steam account you connect; Steam privacy settings continue to apply. GTF has no subscriptions, payment collection or in-app purchases. Purchases happen directly on Steam under Valve’s terms. GTF is independent of Valve, Twitch/IGDB and game publishers and is not endorsed by them. Opening a chat prepares a handoff; you decide whether to paste and send an invitation.

Permitted use

Use the service lawfully and respect other people’s privacy and intellectual property. Do not bypass authentication, access another user’s private records, circumvent request limits, automate abusive requests or distribute malicious content. Normal account and library use is subject to fair request limits and external-service availability.

Windows companion

You may install and use the companion for your own gaming sessions. Bundled third-party components keep their respective licences. A compatible Windows system, WebView2 and an appropriately licensed Steam game are required for relevant features. Detection reads local Steam manifests and visible process paths; it does not prove active input or campaign progress. Reminders are optional, can be extended or stopped, and may require borderless fullscreen. No game is injected into, paused or forcibly closed.

Availability and changes

GTF is provided as available, without an uptime or service-level commitment. Hosting quotas, maintenance, Steam privacy settings and third-party interruptions can limit features. We may improve, suspend or discontinue features. Material changes to these terms will receive a dated notice before applying prospectively; you may stop using the service if you do not accept them.

Your data and ending use

You may sign out, clear browser preferences, clear companion history, cancel your hosted plans or uninstall the companion. Those actions have different effects described in the Privacy Policy. To request deletion of server-held personal information, contact the operator. We may restrict access proportionately to address misuse, a security incident or a legal obligation; where appropriate we will explain the restriction.

Rights, responsibility and governing law

Take reasonable care when relying on estimates or using game reminders. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or rights and liabilities that the law does not allow to be excluded. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to mandatory protections in your country of residence. You may use any courts available to you under mandatory consumer law.

Send support, privacy or terms questions to info@gamesthatfit.com. GTF currently offers a consumer service, not separately contracted business processing or enterprise services. You do not need to sign a Master Services Agreement or a customer Data Processing Agreement to use it.
